DJ Green Lantern does African Hip Hop in Nigerian film - God's Own Country

The US has Hollywood, but don't sleep on Nigeria.
Nollywood stand up!
I came across a trailer for the film God's Own Country, whose soundtrack is a mixtape hosted by US's own DJ Green Lantern, Eminem's former DJ and the one who held things down for Jay-Z when he toured Africa. To peep the trailer and download the movie in its entirety for yourself, just check the website www.gocmovie.com/.

Here's the movie's description from the official website:

The United States of America, God’s own Country, land of opportunity, streets pavedwith gold, a place where dreams come true, these were the expectations of Ike Ajayi, an African Immigrant arriving at New York. However, reality quickly dawns on him when he finds out that all that glitters is not gold. Ike encounters a web of betrayal, greed and
credit card scams.
Written, Directed, Produced by Femi Agbayewa and introducing Dauda Momodou and Sylvia Osei, “God’s Own Country” is a fast-paced, frank portrayal of American reality from an African point of view, providing an in-depth look into the life of the African immigrant in North America.
This short film is set against a fast-paced and exciting hip-hop/urban soundtrack that fuses African culture with gritty street anthems highlighting the freshness of this new genre, Nollywood USA.

Artists on the mix include Eldee da Don (Nigeria), Dead Prez, Krukid (Uganda/US), X Plastaz & Jimmy Rage (Tanzania/Jamaica), Moubaraka (Comores/France), Styles P and Lil Wayne. I'm lovin' the cross continential business collabo going down on this venture.
To get the mixtape (for free!), peep the trailer and download the movie in its entirety for yourself, just head to the website www.gocmovie.com/.
